You can add flash to blog posts,if you have got the embed cose for the same..The best example is the youtube embed code!!
If you are trying to embed a SWF file and if you dont know how to make the embed code then refer this tutorial by W3Schools- http://www.w3schools.com/flash/flash_inhtml.asp
It is the best place for anyone who wants to learn something abut html and such other stuff!!

I think you are talking about adding flash to the blogger tile.In that case you will have to edit your template and add the flash embed code there..

Hello vmehta,
Well i often advice people to use less flash when you are concerned about SEO. The reason is that flash does not give much exposure to textual content of website. However google have success in reading keystrokes in flash, it can click some of element and can parse data. but i am not sure if they can read all of it. So i would advice you to keep it simple, use CSS, you may find amazing designs on http://themeforest.net/, you might like it there. Always remember to keep everything simple, you may use little horizontal flash banner with some fixed size like 800px width, to stick in site to make your website more presentable. Hope this would have helped you.

I don't know the exacts, but this article might help.

Also, IIRC, Google's web spider does index text content from Flash objects.

Am unsure about how other search engines like yahoo / bing etc. treat Flash objects.

Just a quick update on the above post, I would be converting the site to an all-flash website. This will have HTML, HEAD & BODY tags but within body, there will be just one OBJECT tag containing the whole site.

Hello,

Very quick question. I have a site http://www.helmetspeakers.co.uk.
I am trying to optimise it and have been quite successful so far. Now i wish to change to site to a flash content. So I'd need to remove all HTML and just put flash object.
The site would then have no HTML but will however continue to have META tags under HEAD. An example of such conversion is http://www.vivekmehta.com where no HTML is used but 100% flash

What i want to know is whether this will affect my search engine ranking because of absense of HTML?
Any help would be much appreciated because i am a bit unsure of how search engines treat flash content and whether they like it or hate it.

Thanks

Plug it into a usb port in your computer and your computer will detect it as a removable drive and you should be able to copy and delete files from the cruzer drive like a regular hard drive.

Cruzer drive should be pretty easy to use and self explanatory - "Plug and Play"

Correction....her card says "SD HC" not SD XC.....assume that means High Capacity since it's a 4gb and mine is 1gb. Question is, is my drive (HP USB digital drive) compatible with her SD HC Silicon Powered 4gb card? It fits but wondering why the laptop doesn't recognize the usb drive with that card in it, but does fine with my 1gb SD card. Help please. Thanks much.

Ok, thanks for the link to the previous discussion. Unfortunately, the computer is not even getting to the point where any recovery software can help because the flash card is not even recognized by my laptop. I downloaded ZAR 8.3 and tried it with my camera and my sd flash card. The software recognized my flash card both from the camera via usb cable, and when i put the flash card in a usb thumb drive. Both times, it scanned and found images that had been deleted. So I thought my friend's card would be the same. It wasn't. When I plug up her camera with the flash in it, or put her flash card into my usb thumb drive and connect it via usb port, it is not shown as a removable drive like it is when I use my SD card. So of course, when I start up ZAR and click "recover images from flash memory", then "next", the only thing that comes up is my computers hard drive. Why won't her card be seen? Hers says SD like mine, but her's also says XC and Silicon Powered, whereas mine does not. Could there be a compatibility issue? Thanks! Mike

I'm coming to the experts on this one. I hope you can help me (my friend, actually). She had taken many pics on vacation and somehow seems to have lost them. When she told me I told her to stop using the flash card and that I thought maybe the data is still on the card and that the camera just couldn't see it. I asked her to give me all the info she could about the camera, memory and the events leading up to it, and below is her email to me. I hope someone can give us steps to take to try and get the pictures if they exist still. Here's what she wrote:

Okay the camera is brand new I bought it the day before I left for India it is a Canon Power Shot A550
7.1 mega pixels.
I also bought the 'flash card ' brand new as well (the day before I left for India.) The flash card says on it
4GB
Sd
HC
silicon power

I was looking through all my photos deciding on what photos I woudl upload the following day. I had to be somewhere early the next mroinig and realised that my 'clock' had stopped working and that the time on my camera was incorrect. I altered the time on my camera and went to sleep. The next day I turned my camera on and it came up saying 'no image' when i went to play the photos back in the camera.
I then went to an internet cafe and plugged my camera into the compeuter and it said that there was no images to download...
The batteries in the camera are AA duracell
the battery ligth was flashing when I was going to be, but this had happened all the tiem when the batteries were getting low...ummm I am not sure what else..ooo thats right, a good majority of the photos I ahd put the 'protection' option on..

...that's it for her email. Can someone help? Is there a way to find the pics? If she didn't overwrite the card, there's a possibility, right? Many thanks in advance and feel free to email me at ettevroc28@hotmail.com Mike
