I have a couple of Gmail accounts. I now have a new one, set by a company I am associated with. I set Outlook 2007 as the email client for all my Gmail accounts as POP3 with the exception that this new one was set as IMAP.

I need to send a short email through that account to about 5 recipients and the message was rejected with the following message:

"Technical details of permanent failure:
Message rejected. See http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=69585 for more information."

The explanation in the link does not fit my situation.

I tried to send the exact same email directly using Gmail via a browser, with the same results (so it deosn't seem like a client or IMAP problem). Another test message with only a "test" in the subject worked!

I tried to send the exact same rejected message through another Gmail account I have, and ... it worked!!!

Any explanation and assistance in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.

If you send HTML formatted email through your email client / webmail interface, does Blogger automatically import it with the correct formatting?

A little search thru the help section reveals this - http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?answer=42466

HTML emails are supported. You'll need to send the email as HTML, not plain-text.

Be sure to type #end at the end of your post in the email.

My employer recently blocked access to blogger.com.
A workaround is to publish blogs on Blogger through email option.
However, I need to know how to publish HTML and Images through email publishing.

As of now, any images that are attached to the email are posted right at the top of the blogpost. I am looking for options to align those images to be somewhere between the article, create and insert hyperlinks for those images.

Any idea how to achieve that? How to send these HTML formatted mails for blog publishing?

Thanks,

RapidShare is another very popular option. It has Free Zone as well as Premium Zone. If your uploaded files are downloaded then you collect points which you can redeem for a Premium Account with them. They allow Split archiving as well. Gmail should be fine for a max of 1-2 MB attachments otherwise it starts taking time.

I think Gmail doesn't allow you to send attachment of size more than 10MB, moreover I won't advise using emails for sending such large attachments because it might get into a problem at the receiver's end.... better way could be to use some file sharing services like ziddu (btw ziddu gives some money also for uploading and sharing attachments)...you can read more about it here... http://reviewofweb.com/how-to/earn-money-when-you-upload-and-share-attachments/

This procedure does not delete one's account completely. After following the guidelines you are still registered in their "Yahoo! People Search". There is a special procedure for deleting your registration in "Yahoo! People Search" and I can't find it. There is no help in their badly written help guidelines. They send you around in an endless links circles circus. It is driving me nuts! Dear Digital Inspiration: please write a how-to-post about getting out of Yahoo 100 % so that no trace is left behind. I'm so mad at Yahoo! Time and time again they try to install their stupid toolbar through downloads of other programs. Their widgets are almost impossible to delete. You can't get out of their registration systems. It takes 90 days to delete an email account. And more of the same kind. I'm almost at the point where I want to hurt them. I take pleasure in writing this. When ever they receive public spanking fx. in the press I laugh out loud! Glee is not something that is becoming but Yahoo!'s policies could turn even an angel into a monster. Why do they behave like this? I hate to see myself gloating. Yahoo! make me dislike myself! Please help, Labnol, will you? I want to be a nice person and get completely out of Yahoo!

1. Mails from Inbox and Sent Folders in GMail can be downloaded to Outlook or Thunderbird using POP3 very easily. They'll be updated automatically whenever you go online.

For SPAM or deleted items, you will have to move them to GMail Inbox before Outlook can download them. Related - Download GMail Messages.

2. None of the other email services you mentioned offer free POP3 access or autoforwarding. A good option is to use ePrompter that will let you check all your web accounts from one central place.

For Hotmail, you can get the free Outlook Connector from Microsoft that works perfect with Outlook or Outlook Express.

1. Can we direct all (inbox, sent, delete, draft) mails from gmail account to MS Outlook. But both should be co-existing and updating automatically. Reason: I dont need to be connected to the internet on my laptop to send mails, I can save those mail in sent items and send it, once the laptop is connected.

2. Since I have stared using gmail, I have stopped checking mail on hotmail, yahoo, rediffmail, but there are certain mails I would like to direct them to gmail account. If not certain mails, can we direct all the latest mails to gmail. So then I can have only gmail account to be checking.
