I then re-attached it to my machine and now, when I hit the start button, it gives 4 short beeps. I desperately need to get into my hard drive but can't get a computer to run it! The only box I have that works is this 98 machine. Can I slave the XP drive to this computer and if so, how? Thanks! </p>
