Hello,

I've seen quite a few posts on here about blogger vs. wordpress. I would like to start blogging using blogger because of the easy set up and neglible cost. If I need more robust capabilities (such as forums) I plan to move to an independent server and start using Wordpress down the road.

I am wondering if there is an easy way to move the content (files) from blogger to another hosting company? Thanks!

Trying to send youtube video so that when recipient receives it it will show up alone without any other sidebar videos that could be opened. - I carefully followed instructions posted by Anurag to do this, and the video will show up as promised, but only as an opening frame (still) with 'loading' in center of pix. - I cannot get any video to open using this method, no matter what I try, or how long I wait for loading to complete. -- Any advice or help would be appreciated -

Hello umashankar,

I personally think that you have too many things on the same page. I mean there were too many ads, and other stuffs. You just organize it so it can be clean and tidy.

Take a look at mine... and please post a comment :P

not possible. Tata Sky / Dish TV and other providers are DTH (Direct To Home) service providers. You will need a satellite dish and a set top box to use their services.

Sir,
I have read your article about migrating from blogger to wordpress [http://www.labnol.org/internet/switch-from-blogger-to-wordpress/9707/].I have certain queries about it.

1> Suppose i blog @ abc.blogspot.com when i migrate to wordpress do i have to force wordpress to use url structure same as blogger? or will your blogger.php script[Specified on the post] take care of it?

2> Suppose i first setup custom domain on blogger like abc.com and the wait for google to change my indexed blog address [About 2~3 months] and then migrate to wordpress , is there any plugin available to redirect users comming from organic search with url structure similar to blogspot to mine custom url structure?

Thanks in advance

Hello Amit,

I have been following your blog for quite sometime now. I have run into a small issue which i thought is worthwhile to ask. I am currently making a presentation of our products on powerpoint. ( Each slide with one product image and description such as p_code,Composition,Price). I have an Excel file where i calculate prices in Euro & Dollar. I want to be able to connect the cells in excel with corresponding product slide on powerpoint. I want to do this to avoid repetition of work when the price changes, due to fluctuations in forex, to automatically reflect on the corresponding slide. I have close to 200 slides and it keeps growing.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Saket

IF they're all in one folder, try merging them using the following command.

Open a command prompt window for the folder where the files are stored.

Example:

If the files are stored in "c:\Audio", click START > RUN... type in "cmd"
