How to make Thumbnails for video?

In growing popularity of distributing video through the Internet, it becomes more and more popular to publish video on personal web pages.

At that many problems often occur – which format to use - video or codec; how to add video to html page etc.

Moreover, sometimes it needs to make Thumbnails for video, so that it could be possible to demonstrate video if it isn’t loaded.

How to create Thumbnails for video in a better way?

Of course, there are many programs, including free ones for that purpose. Another simple way is to make screenshot with Print Screen (if only Windows Media Player isn’t used), Copy Paste it to Paint – and that’s all!

And what if you need to make more then 1 Thumbnail? How to do that simply and quickly?

For that I use VideoCharge. It isn’t Free, but for such tasks I think is the best program for today!

1. It helps to specify frames and make Thumbnails, using them.
2. It enables to make any number of Thumbnails automatically, i.e. - for example you need to process 100 files, VideoCharge will process them and create Thumbnails for every one, using first or specified frame.
3. Enables to extract frames from video and make graphical files from them – that is for those who wants to make image gallery from video.
4. Has FTP that uploads files to server.
5. Has flexible adjustment for names of produced files. It’s very handy to put files in folders and name them.

And these are only few features helping me to live, but there are a lot of useful ones there!
Hope it will help somebody!

How to automatize video files processing?

I often have to do with video files processing: converting them to FLV format, making screenshots etc, in other words, with boring single-type tasks. As a matter of fact, all simple operations I have to perform at that (opening video editor, opening file in it, running process) don’t take much time…, but it is only in case of a single file.

Processing several files becomes much more difficultL. In addition to all I’m very lazy :-)

I’ve decided to automatize this process somehow and at that, to minimize the number of operations.

I won’t describe all ideas I’ve tried. Only tell I didn’t like bat files (as it needs to insert paths etc.).

Unfortunately, I’m not a developer to create my own program. I’ve almost humbled with all my unsuccessful tries when found video editor that can process video without running application or bat files.

You only should copy video files to necessary folder in the explorer!

I’m not sure about everybody, but like this application (Watermark Master)!

It is exactly what I need!

Here you can read how to configure this application.

How to split video file into parts quickly?

Sometimes there is a problem to split big file into parts. For example, I needed to cut out 100 mb that didn't go into disc.

There are many programs helping to do that, but they requires to recode film - it takes several hours.

However I've found a solution: used VideoCharge Full programe (search in Google) - it enables to divide video into parts without recoding!

I could see before my eyes status line and how unwanted 100 mb is being cut out!

At the same time that program enables to divide film into parts by various parametres - by size, time - and the main thing - it works with almost all video formats and allows to join the same films quickly!

The EasyDrive School of Motoring was established in Glasgow in 1992. Since then, the School has grown steadily and now has several offices in most of the main cities of Scotland. Each office has a Manager (who tends to also be a Senior Instructor), several Senior Instructors, Instructors and administrative staff. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office. Clients must first register at an office and this requires that they complete an application form, which records their personal details. A client may request individual lessons or book a block of lessons. An individual lesson is for one hour, which begins and ends at the office. A lesson is with a particular Instructor in a particular car at a given time. Lessons can start as early as 8am and as late as 8pm. After each lesson, the Instructor records the progress made by the client and notes the mileage used during the lesson. The School has a pool of cars, which are adapted for the purposes of teaching. Each Instructor is allocated to a particular car. Once ready, a client applies for a driving test date. To obtain a full driving license the client must pass both the practical and theoretical parts of the test. If a client fails to pass, the Instructor must record the reasons for the failure.
(a)	Identify the main entities of the EasyDrive School of Motoring.
(b)	Identify the main relationships between the entities describe in (a) and represent each relationship as an ER diagram.
(c)	Determine the multiplicity constraints for each relationship described in (b). Represent the multiplicity for each relationship in the ER diagrams created in (b).
(d)	Identify attributes and associate them with an entity or relationship. Represent each attribute in the ER diagrams created in (c).
(e)	Determine candidate and primary key attributes for each (Strong) entity.
(f)	Using your answers (a) to (e) attempt to represent the data requirements of the EasyDrive School of Motoring as a single ER diagram. State any assumption necessary to support your design.

I'm not aware of any BIOS that offers the option to format a drive.

If you want to format a drive, use a bootable CD/DVD/flash drive and then run the command.

If you're getting into SAFE MODE all the time, press F8 while booting to get more options. Try the LAST KNOWN CONFIGURATION option or even NORMAL.

Usually, we can recover Windows admin password in two traditional ways. The first is to change Screen password with another admin account, ; the second is to recover the previous password with the windows password reset disk that had been created before you forgot the password. Take Windows XP for example, </p>
<p >1 At the Windows XP login prompt when the password is entered incorrectly click the reset button in the login failed window. </p>
<p>2 Insert the password reset diskette into the computer and click Next. </p>
<p>3 If the correct diskette Windows XP will open a window prompting for the new password you wish to use.</p>
<p >However, we offen ignore the important of security until we have been locked out of computer. Fortunately, there is still the last way that can unlock your computer without reinstalling - erase Windows password with Windows password reset CD, which can recover admin password for Windows 7/XP/Vista/NT/2000/2003.... Take Windows Password unlocker for example, followings are the steps to create the reset CD</p>
<p >1.Download <b>Windows Password Unlocker</b> from Password Unlocker Official site </p>
<p >2.Decompress the Windows password unlocker and note that there is an .ISO image file. Burn the image file onto an blank CD with the burner freely supported by Password Unlocker. </p>
<p >3.Insert the newly created CD into the locked computer and re-boot it from the CD drive. </p>
<p >4.After launched the CD, a window pop up with all your account names(if you have several accounts) select one of the accounts that you have forgotten its password to reset it. Just one press, this software can remove screen password instantly.

Any iTunes movies or TV show episodes purchased from the iTunes store will fail to burn to DVD. This isn't a flaw in your Nero DVD burning software, it's a limitation of the video downloads. Apple's copy protection on each of the files prevents making DVDs that would be usable in a set top DVD player.

There are two ways to work around this limitation if you want to easily watch your iTunes movies on your television. Both involve spending some money. If you have an iPod, the easiest option is to buy a cable that connects your iPod to your TV. If you don't have an iPod, or if you want to be able to watch your movies in more places, you'll need to download wondershare media converter + DVD Flick

So, how to convert iTunes movie to DVD, backup iTunes movie rentals on DVD?
You may follow the two steps below:
Part 1 How to convert iTunes protected movie to non-protected video MPEG-2 FLV?

What you need is just iTunes and this DRM Removal Program – Wondershare Media Converter. You can download here for iTunes and Wondershare media Converter.

Here is the step by step tutorial for the program:

Most of the files purchased from iTunes Store are DRM protected i.e. you can play them only on specific devices and computers. You cannot use the DRM protected files on any random computer or portable media player. And the music from iTunes store is usually either in MP4 or AAC format. This means all of the songs and videos you download from the iTunes store will only work on your iPod. If you want them on another MP3 player or Sony PSP, you cannot do it unless you transfer the files to MP3 format.

How to remove DRM from iTunes music?

As we known, Apple only allowed for new sales of iTunes Plus content without providing a cost-reduced upgrade path. That said, downloading upgraded DRM-free, 256K songs cost 30¢ each, about one-third the 99¢ price of a track purchased a la carte.

Although most people are not particularly happy about having to pay another 30¢ each for songs they already “owned” is there any other resolution? Yes, you get the right place! Today I would like to introduce one more easier and faster method to put iTunes music to mp3 player.

What you need is just iTunes and this DRM Removal Program – Wondershare Music Converter. You can download here for iTunes and Wondershare Music Converter.

Here is the step by step tutorial for the program:

Step 1: Free download Wondershare Music Converter install and run it.

Step 2: when come to the main interface, you can directly drag-drop target music file to the conversion window, or click the 'Add' button to import the target files.

Step 3: Choose the format you'd like to get. There is a list of output formats. If you want to edit them in Windows Movie Maker, I recommend you to select MP3 or WAV.

Step 4: And then click the start button, and the DRM removing process is beginning. After a while, the files are DRM-ripped. You can view your converted files by press the browse button.

Step 5: After conversion, now we can transfer the converted songs to your mp3 player. The non-DRM music can be transferred to another MP3 player easily.

Thanks for viewing this guide of transfer iTunes music to mp3. Now, let's enjoy our clear music & videos in your mp3 player or other portable player freely and have a wonderful life.

I've purchased a bunch of music from iTunes and have enjoyed listening to them on my computer. But my portable music player is not an Apple iPod, so I can't take my songs with me. I know that I can burn it but I don't have a cd burner on my computer so I need a different method. Is there any way I can get around this unfair restriction and transfer my iTunes music to MP3 player?

Use a flash drive to boot your machine. A tutorial to install Win XP using a flash drive is here.

Naturally, you'll need to perform and prepare the flash drive on a separate PC. Most laptops nowadays come with recovery CDs. However, as you're claiming you have no CD drive, check with your manufacturer if there already is a system recovery partition that can be accesses *before* boot-up occurs.

The only other easy way would be to plug in an external CD drive either via USB or PCMCIA interface.

Well, I was finally able to find some spare time and give this Tunebite app a spin to save YouTube videos. Found a couple of my favorite videos and started Tunebite to download and convert YouTube videos to 3gp so I could transfer them to my phone.I have to say that this app is definitely a keeper,I got in no time all the videos I wanted and in great quality.I also saw that I can also use Tunebite's YouTube Downloader to convert YouTube videos to mp3, which is definitely a plus for me.
Will be back with more details when I have more time to play with Tunebite's YouTube Downloader and with the rest of the features.
